Two professional photographers will share their knowledge with you in an intense workshop at a fully equipped photo studio in the center of Prague. Vojtěch has recently teamed up with artistic photographer Zara Wildmoons to show you how she thinks about photography and creates a concept even before you pick up the camera, for example, for a magazine editorial.

Try it out with renowned photographer Zara Wildmoons and learn how such a concept is born, discover the sources of inspiration that lead to an original photograph, boost your creativity, and learn to photograph in your mind first, without a camera."
Zara doesn't host many photography workshops, so this is a unique opportunity to get a glimpse behind the scenes of her work.
Capturing a moment can be done by anyone, but can you capture it like a professional? Become a portrait photographer for a day! This workshop invites all photography enthusiasts to develop key skills in studio portrait photography. Led by an experienced photographer, you’ll go through the entire process of creating stunning portrait images – from setting up the scene and mastering lighting techniques to communicating effectively with the model. You’ll learn to use various types of lighting, reflectors, diffusers, and other studio equipment to create impactful images.
In the studio, you’ll spend approximately 6 hours. First, you’ll go through a theoretical introduction, followed by hands-on practice with a model or model. This creative day will give you a full understanding of the work of a professional photographer and provide numerous tips for your own photographic projects.
The "Portrait Photography in the Studio" experience includes:
- Active participation in photography in a professional studio under the guidance of photographer Vojtěch Vlk.
- A theoretical introduction on working with light and studio equipment.
- A practical session – photographing portraits using various types of lighting and accessories.
- Personal guidance and tips from a professional photographer.
- Inspiring tips for working with models and composition of the images.
- The opportunity to learn how to properly light portraits on light, dark, and colored backgrounds.

Approximately 6 hours (10:00–12:30 theoretical part, followed by a one-hour lunch break, second block 13:30–17:00 – shooting with a model)

The workshop is suitable for all photography enthusiasts. We recommend bringing a fully charged digital camera and an empty memory card.
